VEEDERSBURG – Frank Worthington, 87, a retired farmer, died in his home at Rt. 4, (Sterling), at 6:30 p.m. Friday. He had been in failing health 12 years. Born at Lake City, Tenn., he had been a resident of the Veedersburg area since 1967. He formerly lived near Wallace and in Benton County. Mr. Worthington was married in 1913 at Lake City to Bertha Jane Massengille, and she died in 1973. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Joan) McAdams, Rt. 4, Attica; and one brother, Charles Worthington of Kokomo - jlr.

Frank Worthington, 87, of R. 4, Veedersburg (Sterling) passed away at his home 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 1977, having been in ill health 12 years. He was born at Lake City, Tenn. on August 2, 1889, the son of John and Sarah Hutchison Worthington. He had formerly lived near Wallace and in Benton County and had been a resident of Sterling since 1967.
  He was married January 26, 1913 at Lake City, Tenn. to Bertha Jane Massengille who died October 17, 1973. He was a retired farmer.
  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Joan) McAdams of R. 4, Attica; one brother, Charles Worthington of Kokomo; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. One son, Homer, preceded in death in 1964.
  Friends were received at the Maus Funeral Home in Attica after 6 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services were held at the Maus Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Joe Shryock officiating. Interment followed in Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.
